About SPOT Youth Sports

The SPOT Provides year round athletic programs designed to instil character and promote development. Youth sports have many benefits including physical and social/emotiional development. Sports at The SPOT teach youth the values of teamwork, self-confidence, and sportsmanship! 

SPOT Sports are developmental and open to all skill levels. Youth who have a desire to learn a new sport for the first time are welcome as well as youth who have been playing their sport for many years! Diversity stregthens teamwork. 

All coaches are background checked and contact sports (like football) require coach safety training. Safety and fun are at the forefront of all athletic programs at The SPOT. 

Sports were on pause during the pandemic, but are returning in 2021! We are excited to have these progrms return and we will continue to adhere to all CDC Guideline updates for youth and athletics.

Congratulations on a great 2021 season!

Registration for the next season reopens each summer 

Youth tackle football is coached by safety certified coaches (NHL Heads Up Youth Football Certification) and managed by The SPOT CEO with over 20 years of youth coaching experience.

 

All safety equipment is loaned through the season included with your cost. Players provide their own cleats.  

Practices begin August 2nd

Age Groups:    7-8.       9-10.      11-12.    (age group determined by August 1.)

Cost: $50.            Discounted rates for multi player families. Please Call*

Basketball

Basketball 2021-22

SPOT youth basketball is returning in 2021 with practices starting at the end of November and games beginning in January 2022. 

*Basketball is $30 for the season. If your child currently attends afterschool, this cost is included in their fees/program. 

Practices are weekdays as well as games and will occur between 5-7pm. (latest end time 8pm) and games will occur as often as possible on the same days they have practice pending the number of teams. ie. if your child has practice on Wednesday and Thursday, their games will also mostly be scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday. 

*K-1st grade students will focus on fundamental skill development. 

Teams Grouped by Grade:    K-1st.       2nd-3rd.      4th-5th.      6th-8th. 

Cost: $30.            *If you are currently attending afterschool, this fee is included with your                                   tuition/program including students in the 21st CCLC program

Wrestling

SPOT youth Wrestling is returning in 2021! 

Wrestling is $30

Practices are weekdays- Tuesday and Friday at 7 pm at The SPOT. Wrestling is open to 1st-8th grade students of all skill levels. The well-qualified coaches emphasize safety, life skills, and fundamentals of the sport and give students the opportunity to complete at their own pace and skill level. 

Open to 1st-8th Graders. 

Cost: $30.   (starts Nov. 2nd)
